 Success, don't try this on your ipod though September 2, 2010

Worked great on a acrylic fish tank that I had tried to use a scouring pad to clean (big mistake, lesson learned). It did take a fair bit of effort and several applications, but the tank went from opaque from so many little scratches to clear. I ended up having to put the tank on the ground and use my fist, the base of my hand and even my heel at one point to get enough force but it payed off. The stuff is acidic and I ended up with a fair bit on my hands which burns a bit but wash it off as soon as you're done and I haven't had any long term effects.
As the name of the product fairly well indicates, and all the information that came with it, this is not a glass, crystal, or any other non plastic cleaner. That includes Ipods, check Apple's site. Don't expect this to clean those things.

WORTHLESS!! Just purchased and received this item. Tried it out, followed the instructions, and just as I thought, you get what you pay for... CRAP! This product might work on something other then the 4 things I tried it on, but on 3 out of the 4 items it made it worse!! Do NOT WASTE your money on this!!

Excellent for small scratches, esp. for soft auto (convertible) windows. Use in order - #1; #2; #3. However, #1 is a fine spray, and should have a spray mist top - not squeeze top!

MY 4 YEAR OLD USED MY 50 INCH SONY FLAT SCREEN TV AS A BLACKBOARD USING A POINTED OBJECT AS A CHALK. THIS PRODUCT IS A LITERAL SCREEN SAVER! I'M ESTIMATING HAS PROBABLY REMOVED 96% TO 98% OF THE SCRATCHES. HAD TO RUN SEVERAL COATS THOUGH AND HAD TO BUFF OVER AND OVER (HARD ON THE ARMS - MAYBE NEXT TIME USE A CAR BUFFER?). FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND IT SHOULD WORK. DON'T KNOW THOUGH HOW DEEP A SCRATCH IT WILL WORK ON. MINE WAS DEEP ENOUGH TO WHERE YOU CAN FEEL IT.

What a great product! We've used it to defog plastic headlight covers and Bakelite bangles and it works great on both. All you need is a bit of terrycloth. If something is badly scratched you'd do all three steps; otherwise you only need to do one or two. The stuff also seems to have no expiration date--it works as well five years after the bottles were opened as they did when they were new. No trips to the auto detailer for us!
