5 out of 5 stars Compact and efficient   September 5, 2010
Danville 209
Purchased one, then so impressed I bought one for each car in our family fleet. Fast little pump with handy led built in utility light. Easy to grab and stow.

4 out of 5 stars Good Compressor   August 19, 2010
M. Hommel (Texas)
I ordered two of these and one was dead out of the box. That's the reason I deducted one star. Amazon paid to ship the defective one back and sent a replacement by 2 day shipping. Well done.

Other than that the pumps are surprisingly quiet and quick to inflate a tire. They are compact and fit neatly out of way in a corner of the trunk of both cars.

I recommend this pump.

1 out of 5 stars Works great until it shorts out   August 8, 2010
krazynks (Kansas)
I bought this in Feb '10 and used it about 6-8 times to top off my tires of a compact car. While on vacation last week (Aug '10) it died. The last time it 'worked' it took noticeably longer to do the same job. The last time I tried to use it had no power for the pump or light. The cigarette lighter still worked, but I put in a new fuse anyway and this piece of junk was certainly dead.

I try to avoid products made in China because they don't last as long or work as well. This is just one more piece of evidence to back that up.

4 out of 5 stars Nicest small compressor I've had.   July 3, 2010

Not too loud, plenty of cord and air line, airs up tires quickly, what more can you ask for.

4 out of 5 stars Needs amperage to run   June 23, 2010
RodW (La Mirada, CA)
Works great when plugged in to my truck lighter outlet. However, it does not work when plugged in to an ac to dc converter (with 12v @ 4.1 Amp). I sent two of these units back after only trying to use them in the converter. Was going to send back the third unit until I tried it in the truck lighter outlet. If unit isn't getting enough amperage it just sputters until it is bumped. Then it will run but sputter out at low air pressures (15 to 20 psi).
